This piece is based on the women’s Rappahannock names: Muriel is Bright Sun, Gloria is Bright Moon, and Lisa is Red Feather. The work follows their life from their childhood of performing in New York’s “alien culture” and through their growing understanding of how they relate with each other and the world.
