The Miami University Libraries are hosting three lectures to honor Women’s History Month. The Walter Havighurst Special Collections and Archives welcomes speakers from far and near for this 2022 lecture series. Join us for conversations about diversity, advocacy, and the achievements of women.
While women continue to be inadequately represented in corporate America on many levels, women of color are the most underrepresented. This discussion will focus on the lack of representation by women of color, the many disparities and barriers encountered in the workplace and the obstacle course that women of color must win to climb the corporate ladder in America.
Alice Cato, is a Senior Analyst at Johnson & Johnson. Alice has worked in corporate America in various roles of increasing responsibility for more than twenty years. Her research interests include the lack of representation seen by women of color in organizational leadership. Rev. Alice earned her Master of Divinity Degree from Payne Theological Seminary and her BSME degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
